Privacy Policy

HelpASAP buys homes for cash from owners who want a fast, simple sale. This policy explains what personal information we collect through helpasap.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, call us at 888-901-6567 or email info@helpasap.com.

When you use our forms or create an account, you give us:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• The address and details of the property — bedrooms, bathrooms, size, year built, condition — and any photos you upload.
• Documents you choose to upload, such as a deed, a mortgage statement or repair quotes.
• What you tell us about your situation, for example why you are thinking of selling, who lives in the home, when you would like to move, whether there is a mortgage or liens, and what you think the home is worth.
• Your answer to our calls-and-texts checkbox and your agreement to our Terms, with the date, time, page and wording you saw.
• The password you set, stored only in hashed form.

We get information about the property from other sources. When you enter an address on our home value page, we look it up with a property-data provider and in public records. That can include the owner of record, past sale prices, an estimated value and how much of the home may be owned outright, and signs such as a pre-foreclosure notice, a tax lien, a vacant home or an inherited property. We use it to handle your request, and it is never shown to other visitors.

We also collect automatically:

• Standard technical data such as your IP address, browser, device type, and the pages you view.
• Analytics and advertising data through Google Analytics and Google Ads, including whether you arrived from an ad and whether you submitted a request, but only if you accept these cookies. See “Cookies and advertising” below.
• Which steps of our forms a visit reaches (for example, opening the cash-offer form or tapping our phone number), whether it came from an ad, and whether it was on a phone, recorded by our own website under a random code that your browser tab forgets when you close it. It sets no cookies, keeps your IP address only in scrambled form, is never shared with Google or any advertiser, and is not linked to your name or email, so it runs whether or not you accept cookies.
• The address you type into an address box. To suggest matching addresses as you type, these boxes send what you type to Google Maps.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, Social Security numbers, bank account details, or government ID through this website. If one appears on a document, please cover it before you upload.

• To prepare and send you a cash offer on your property.
• To prepare a home value report you ask for. We draft reports with the help of software, including an AI service (currently Google Gemini), from recent sales and property records, and a person on our team reviews each report before it is sent.
• To contact you about your request by phone, email, or text — including calls from our acquisitions team.
• To create and support your account so you can track your offer.
• To verify property information against public records and market data.
• To measure which ads and pages lead to real requests, so we do not waste money showing ads to people they do not help.
• To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

Our forms have an optional checkbox for calls and texts. If you tick it, HelpASAP may call and text you at the number you gave about your property, including offers to buy it, using an automated dialing system, prerecorded messages or texts. If you leave it empty, we will not send you texts or make automated or prerecorded calls; a member of our team may still call you by hand about the request you made. Agreeing is not a condition of getting a report, an offer or selling your home. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You can withdraw your agreement at any time, in any reasonable way: reply STOP to a text (or HELP for help), tell the caller, or email info@helpasap.com. We keep a record of each agreement, including when it was given and the wording you saw.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Our own staff and the investors or contractors involved in evaluating and closing on your property.
• Service providers who work for us and may use it only to do that work: website hosting (Vercel), our database and file storage (Supabase), our customer-relationship and texting system (GoHighLevel), email delivery (Resend), internal team messaging (Slack), address suggestions and AI report drafting (Google), and the property-data providers we use for address lookups.
• Title companies, escrow agents, and other parties necessary to complete a transaction you have chosen to move forward with.
• Law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to do so.

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and the Google Ads tag to measure which advertisements lead to a submitted request. These services set cookies, and Google may use the data to show you our ads on other sites (remarketing). None of them load until you click Accept on our cookie notice, and they never load on private report pages.

You can change your choice at any time with Do not sell or share my personal information, linked at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as an opt-out and keep these tags off. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and manage ad personalization in your Google account settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies.

If you live in California, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request a copy of it, to ask us to delete it, and to correct it if it is wrong. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.

We do not sell your personal information for money. If you accept Google cookies, the Google Ads tag lets Google use your visit to show you our ads on other sites, which California law may treat as "sharing" for advertising. You can opt out of that sharing in one click, with no account or ID: open your privacy choices. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is honored automatically.

To make a request, use our privacy request form, email info@helpasap.com or call 888-901-6567. For requests to know, delete or correct, we will verify your identity before acting and respond within the timeframes the law requires. Opting out of sale or sharing never requires verification.

• Property lookups for an address entered on our home value page, when no request was sent: no longer than 30 days.
• Links to a home value report stop working after 90 days.
• Records of your consent to calls and texts, and to our Terms: at least five years, so we can show what you agreed to.
• Privacy requests and how we answered them: at least 24 months, as California law requires.
• Your requests, account and property information: for as long as your account is open or we are working on your request, and afterwards for as long as we need it for legal, tax and record-keeping purposes.

You can ask us to close your account and delete your information at any time.

Your information is held in access-controlled systems, and traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Documents you upload and your report files are kept in private storage and open only through links that expire within minutes. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to the people who need it to work on your request.

This site is meant for adults who own property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
